For your Medical Mutual Insureds,
Insureds who have not yet paid their renewal bill will be sent a reminder invoice on December 12. Remember that Maryland Insureds will not receive a cancellation notice for non-payment at renewal. If payment is not received by January 1, 2023, the policy will not renew, and on January 3 the Insured will be mailed an offer to reinstate the policy. To avoid a lapse in coverage and late certificates, please follow up with your Doctors who are sent a reminder invoice. You will receive copies of the reminder invoices via our online Documents-for-a-Day. We cannot issue 2023 renewal policies and certificates until payment is received. Also, with potential USPS delays in mail delivery through January, please remind Doctors that they can enroll in our automatic payment plan or pay online by visiting http://www.mmlis.com.
