For our Medical Mutual Policy holders, please note that on January 3, 2023, Medical Mutual will send each Insured whose payment is not received by January 1, 2023 a “Notice of Offer to Reinstate Renewal Policy Without Lapse in Coverage.” This notice will state that the policy terminated on January 1, 2023, and will give an additional 10 days to pay. If payment is not received, the policy will remain terminated.
This billing procedure only affects the first quarter. Thereafter, Cancellation Notices will be mailed for all future quarterly installments for that policy if payment is not received by the due date. Reinstatement after the 10 day grace period will require 2 quarters plus warranty, after 30 days a new application will be needed and reinstatement is subject to new busniess underwrtiing.
